This chime is named for David, King of Israel and Judah around 1000 BC. As a young shepherd, he played his lyre so beautifully that he was able to heal King Saul troubled spirits. Later he became an acclaimed warrior, musician and poet. Nowadays he is still an important figure to members of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic faiths.
The Woodstock Windsinger Chimes are musically-tuned to an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale using a just intonation system. This distinctive feature provides the purest sound and the most melodious music. Let its deep tones move you!
