Instructions for use
Fill the incense burner with ash up to 80% of its capacity. Light the tip of the incense stick, blow out the flame, and let it smolder. Insert the stick into the ash and leave the lid open. If you burn the incense with the lid closed, the lack of oxygen may cause it to extinguish halfway through. When not in use, close the lid and enjoy it as a decorative piece.
About Arita porcelain
Arita porcelain pieces are known for their timeless elegance and subtle designs. They typically feature a white or slightly bluish glaze and are adorned with delicate patterns such as flowers, leaves, or landscapes. Arita porcelain stands out for its refined beauty and translucent finish. The town of Arita, in Saga prefecture, Japan, is the cradle of Japanese porcelain. At the beginning of the 17th century, a Korean artisan named Ri Sampei settled in the area. Thanks to his mastery of high-temperature kilns and the proximity of kaolin deposits, Ri Sampei was able to produce porcelain of similar quality to that of the Chinese, thus ending their seven-century monopoly. Arita porcelain became very popular in the 18th century, when it was widely exported to Europe, contributing significantly to the prosperity of the Saga region.
