The treasure ship: longevity and wealth, by Ashikaga Shizan, 100 years old.
Ashikaga Shizan Eon (1859 - 1959), also known as Mui-shitsu or Kan-un-shitsu in his old days, was a master of Zen Rinzai. He received the Dharma transmission from Dokuon Ogino. He also practiced Zen under Tairyu Bun'I in Shogen-ji. He became the abbot of the Hoko-ji branch in 1927. He retired in 1946, but was selected again in 1951 and remained there until his death. His calligraphy was considered to be one the greatest of all times. He was 101 years old when he passed away.
