Rapeseed Flowers
The artist who designed this incense burner delicately and charmingly paints rapeseed flowers, capturing the essence of spring's breath.Instructions for use
Fill the incense burner with ash up to 80% of its capacity. Light the tip of the incense stick, blow out the flame, and let it smolder. Insert the stick into the ash and leave the lid open. If you burn the incense with the lid closed, the lack of oxygen may cause it to go out halfway through. When not in use, close the lid and enjoy it as a decorative object.
About Kutani ceramic
Ceramic has been made in the town of Kutani, Ishikawa prefecture, Japan since the middle of the 17th century. It is known worldwide for two different styles: the first consists of gold-painted patterns, made easily as gold is abundant in the area; the second is the superposition of thick layers of five colours, called go-sai: red, yellow, green, purple and dark blue. Kutani designs often feature bold representations of nature. This is a very rich and luxurious style, as proven by this rare and delightful piece of art.
