This chime is a tribute to Orpheus, the legendary poet and musician of Greek mythology. Son of the muse Calliope, he was able to charm all living creatures and even stones with his songs. He is the one who went to the underworld to resurrect his wife Eurydice and who managed to put ferocious Cerberus to sleep with his music.
The Woodstock Windsinger Chimes are musically-tuned to an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale using a just intonation system. This distinctive feature provides the purest sound and the most melodious music. Hang it in your garden or terrace and let it charm all your guests!
