Even those who have never heard of kyara find its fragrance captivating. Its origin is a miracle of mother nature. The Aquilaria genus tree that grows in the depths of the mountains of Vietnam is sometimes infected by a fungus as a result of wounds caused by insects, birds or branches that tear. The diseased tree produces a resin to protect itself and after a long period of aging, it soaks the wood and produces its unparalleled aroma. This is a fragrance to be relished. It is said to be the peak of incense. Tendan Kyara is a specially selected incense produced naturally with little smoke.
