Tiger's Eye - Protection

Related to the third chakras, it is known to increase inner power and self-confidence. Considered to be a protection stone, it is also used to purify the body and attract good fortune. Thanks to its warm tones, tiger's eye combines the energies of the sun and the earth to create a higher vibratory state and to activate spiritual forces on the planet.

Meaning of Shambala

In Sanskrit, Shambala (also Shambhala) means “the place of peaceful happiness”, a mysterious realm described in Buddhist scriptures. Although it is part of the Earth, this pure land cannot be located on any map.

HOW TO CHOOSE MY MALA?

INTENTION AND PURPOSE

There are many criteria for choosing a mala or a mala bracelet (spiritual tradition, color, aesthetics…). Tradition assigns each material—whether wood, bone, seeds, or stone—its own spiritual meaning.
What purpose do you wish to cultivate? Here is a small guide.

  • Wood.

Since ancient times, many traditions have attributed benefits to wood for both body and mind. It is used for all kinds of intentions: grounding, stability, serenity, support for meditation.

  • Seeds.

Lotus seeds are said to increase wisdom; rudraksha provides protection and spiritual connection; and bodhi-tree beads connect with enlightenment.

  • Stones.

They are used to soothe and calm. Each mala vibrates with the frequency and color of the stone it is made of. Choose the one that aligns with your intention

  • Bone.

With deep shamanic symbolism, it reconnects us with impermanence. It is used in practices to transcend fear, overcome negative energies, and generate compassion. When combined with inlays, its powerful energy becomes balanced.

PRAYER BEADS

IN THE PRESENT, MY MIND BECOMES CALM

Mala in Sanskrit means “garland of roses.” This object originated in India with Hinduism. Its use passed into Buddhism and later into Islam, which transmitted it to Christianity during the Crusades in the form of the rosary.

The mala is used to count devotional words or recitations during mantra meditation. This practice consists of repeating words to generate vibrations: you hold it in one hand and take one bead. With each recitation, you rotate the mala and move on to the next bead. It is an effective way to remain in the present and soothe the mind.

Complete rosaries contain 108 beads, symbolizing the 108 human passions. Mala bracelets usually have 24 beads, or any other number that is typically a multiple of 3. They are personal accessories that define our personality and character, and in all traditions they are attributed a magical protective energy.
