Tibetan Prayer Flags

In the Himalayas there are Tibetan flags on temples, houses and along mountain paths. They bear written prayers and good omens that the wind blows around the world.

They are exposed to the elements and fray over time, being a symbol of the fragility of all things, especially human life.
