Kaden Kobunboku Agarwood - Long Sticks
Kaden means "Old Family Secret". This incense is prepared following the same recipe as traditional Kobunboku, with extra Tsukigase aloeswood.
The excellent traditional aromas of the Kobunboku collection are very popular in Japan. ‘Ko’ means nice, ‘bun’ elegant, ‘boku’ wood or tree: the name Kobunboku refers to the cherished plum tree and its flower, also known as "the flower of peace". It has long been an essential ingredient of Japanese incense.
Back to 1657, Kakuemon Yamatoya opened a shop of medicinal herbs and aromatic woods in Sakai, Japan. Since then, the highly trained incense masters of Baieido have been travelling all around the world in search of the highest quality ingredients: aloeswood, sandalwood, resins, herbs, spices and other natural ingredients to follow their ancestral recipes.
