Borneol | Tierra Zen

Resin found in crystal form on the bark of a tree that grows deep in the Sumatra and Borneo's jungles. It is only produced by old trees, that can have thousands of years. To extract it the tree branches  are scratched, which makes it go out mixed with bark bits. In Japan it is used to perfume ink as its calming effect favors the concentration and serenity needed for calligraphy. For the same reason, it is found in many traditional Japanese incenses.
